Cape Lake House

Cape Lake House provided a great April vacation for our family of 5. It is quite noticeable the care and attention Stu and Cathy have for their properties and creating a wonderful experience for their guests. The house is so well maintained, relaxing and provides all necessary amenities to truly have a resort like vacation in your own private home. The location is excellent providing amazing views of the water while also convenient enough to travel to other parts of the southwestern Florida coast. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back to this or one of the other properties of SeaSchells Vacation rentals.

We spent spring break at Cape Lake House. Ten family members from 5 mos - 70yrs old enjoyed this home away from home with all needs provided by the best hosts - The Schellers. Everything for daily living and fun for all was provided and well-utilized. Of course, the pool area was a huge hit, but we didn't expect or 6'7" son to curl into the reading nook to read the many kids books to his 2 yr old and 6 mo. old - and yet, there he was. My favorite vacation memory. This house is as welcoming as the other Sea Schell houses we have visited. It got many votes as family members' favorite! Thank you for being such great hosts!

My family loved the Cape Lake House. We went Thanksgiving week and had a great time. The house is beautiful, clean and has plenty room. Great decorating too. My kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and Kayaking. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend!

The house was very clean, the layout worked well for our 2 families that stayed together. We loved the pool and water with fishing and canoeing/paddle boarding equipment. The pool needed some minor repairs during our stay, the repair men and owner were professional, communicative, and worked quickly. The appliances could use updating, but the kitchen was fully stocked and worked well enough. The owner communicated very well, maybe a little too much. But that’s better than not enough. My family would stay here again.

The house was beautiful and easily accommodated our large family. The house had all nice new appliances and plenty of utensils for cooking and eating for a large group. The pool is beautiful and the outdoor patio is amazing. Homeowner was very easy to connect with!
