Mermaid Cove

Thank you for a beautiful vacation rental. You guys are the best host! The House has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We will continue to stay in your homes as long as we can. Having the water park and putt golf within walking distance is a plus too, but we never wanted to leave the pool. Thank you!

Family of five (Kids 18,16,12) This is our second stay at one of Stu and Cathy's beautiful homes. When we were looking for a vacation spot for Spring Break 2025 nothing looked as close to paradise as we were in their Sunset Cottage in 2024. Sadly, the cottage wasn't available for our 2025 dates so we chose another of their properties; Mermaid Cove. I'm so happy we landed here! It was perfect. Pool days spent watching the wildlife that melt into the most colorful sunsets. Coffee by the lake in the morning. Relaxing in the hot tub at night. The homes are centrally located to many great local restaurants and activities. There are games and books, kayaks, pool floats, and a fully stocked kitchen, if that's what you're into. We will stay again, but which home shall we choose next time??!! It's so hard to pick! Thank you for being the best hosts ❤️

We stayed again at one of the Sea Schell's vacation homes and again had a wonderful experience! Stu and Cathy provide everything you need to make your stay feel like you really are at home. The house is decorated beautifully and super clean. We have never been disappointed staying at one of their properties. Thank you again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and the owners. The home is exactly as shown in listing and includes everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Salt water pool, lanai, dock for evening fishing, grill, plenty of outdoor furniture for enjoying the day. If you want to head to the beach(we enjoyed Sanibel Island and Siesta Key) there are plenty of toys, beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella and even a wagon to tow it all to the beach in. Don’t even get me started on the kitchen! It’s rare to rent a home that is actually stocked with everything you could possibly need. I could cook meals and didn’t have to improvise. If you are on the fence about renting for the Schells, don’t hesitate. They were great communicators and very kind humans!! We cannot wait to head back next summer!!
